MARIA McCarthy is set to lead an event focused on helping would-be authors get their book published.
Maria is an author and journalist and lectures on getting published at Bristol University. You can read some of her excellent advice on Journalism.co.uk.
Her workshop is being held on May 19 in central London and includes expert advice on getting an agent, approaching publishers, the editing process, getting the right book jacket and demystifying advances and royalties.
Maria says that there'll be time for questions both during the workshop and in the pub afterwards - and that attendance costs £15.
