National Geographic Traveler - UK edition - is a new quarterly magazine launching in the British Isles. The inaugural edition will be distributed to over 250,000 homes across the country this November.
It builds on the success of the world''s most widely read travel magazine -- National Geographic Traveler, while placing it in a British context.
London-based, Elite Publishing is producing the full-colour, glossy title that will initially accompany subscription copies of National Geographic magazine in the UK.
I am seeking stories, contacts, news and new tourism and travel products, as well as offerings from around the globe.
These must shun fashion and fluff in favour of material that offers a strong sense of place, as well as inspiring narratives that encourage readers to take holidays
Articles will be commissioned and edited by Elite Publishing and will include in-depth features on travel and culture in countries and cities relevant to the British traveller, illustrated with stunning photographs.Please send well researched and well crafted responses to editor Nicholas Easen.
