Editor of film site and freelance Mexico city writer, plus other opportunities

IS this the job to tempt you away from the freelance life? It may well be for someone, would you agree? Shame there's no pay details included, but you can't have everything in an ad I suppose.

There's a shout-out on Journobiz for a writer with a knowledge of Mexico City. Check out the post on the Jobs forum for more details - as well as news of Catherine Cooper's search for someone to work on Ceefax on a freelance basis.

You can find details of a paid restaurant reviewing job here.

Nick Daws links to advice about writing for about.com as well as the current openings here. If anyone has any experience of how this can work out, I'd be interested to know more - it is something I considered when starting out.

Over at www.noagenciesplease.com, there's an appeal for freelance subs and a freelance production editor. These date back to March 21, but there may still be time.

For anyone working as a freelance broadcast journalist, Joanne Mallon has some excellent advice and news of a new site listing relevant opportunities here.
