I'VE been contacted by a potential client who would like to know more about the services of a ghostwriter to help tell a story of friendship that could rival that of Will and Grace.
This is a tale of a straight woman and her gay best friend.
She says: "Okay, I'm a straight woman and he is a gay man and we have been friends for nearly five years.
"Think Will & Grace! In that time we have seen, met and been in some of the strangest, weirdest, funniest, vile people and and situations that you could ever imagine.
"In December 2006, we opened our own gay nightclub and we are sure that we have more than enough material."
And she adds: "We'd be coming from both sides of the coin - his gay side and my straight experiences of living, working and trying to survive in the cut-throat world of drag queens and twinks!"
Please get in touch with me if this sounds up your street. First off, they need help with a synopsis to approach an agent and would like an idea of costs.

Ms. Jones,
This sounds lke a fun project. I am a published author. Have just completed a new novel and would be interested in this story.

Dear Mike and Clare,
thanks for your comments, this entry was posted back in March and the opportunity has now passed. For more details of writing jobs/opportunities/tips please do check back if you would like. This is a blog about freelance writing run on a voluntary basis by me to help promote my book on freelance writing so I am sorry but I don't have the resources to email individual people with news of opportunities. I do share opportunities with the facebook group for this blog though, if that's of interest. Thanks for dropping by and hope to see you back.
