Heidi-Hi...My favourite blog: Where did it all go right?
WRITER Andrew Collins blogs here. Recent posts on the earthquake, Oscars and Brits have had me either laughing out loud, smiling or nodding my head in agreement - not always easy when you are also taking a sales call from some woman who wants to flog you a water cooler.
Just thought I'd mention it. I haven't expressed admiration for a journalist/writer since sending that nice Tim Samuels one a message on Facebook while worrying he would think I could turn into a stalker. Now I have BBC3, I think the Maconie fella could be next in line. Where does he get the time?

Thanks for the tip - for some reason I've never been keen on Andrew Collins' film column in the Radio Times, so the discovery of his blog was a welcome pleasure that has been added to my feed reader.
Maconie is great - read Pies and Prejudice, a very funny take on what Oop North is really about. Does he have a blog too, I wonder? If not, he ought to.

But I felt let down by the description of Blackpool!
