JAN Murray and Ed Miller run JournoBiz, a forum for journalists and wannabe journalists, at the same time as holding down their careers and looking after their daughter Katy.
The site has been a constant source of support, encouragement, entertainment, the odd spat, and a fair bit of work for me, over the last two years.
Now it has been hacked by some sad loser.
I know how hard Jan works to keep things going in a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and I suspect Ed may be too busy savouring his recording of tonight's Joseph programme to give it any thought.
But I hope they are back soon and as is more fitting of the lovely ladies in the online parenting circles I've been known to frequent, I'm sending them all the positive vibes I can muster.
(This is how you do that, you know: + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +)
And when they are, if you haven't already, please do check it out. You'll be glad you did. [Linda]

Don't suppose you have any spare limbs I could have, Linda?
When journobiz is down I feel like I've lost one.

Looks like it's been hacked again at time of writing, unless it's been temporarily taken down to bolster security.

I am missing it badly - have posted about this on my blog.
It seems like such a weird site to target, it's hardly controversial. And from a hacking perspective, two journos running an open forum can hardly present a wannabee security nerd with too much of a challenge...
people are weird.
