Then we hope freelancewritingtips.com gives you some food for thought. This site is was started in March 2007 as a joint project between Craig McGinty and Linda Jones.

Craig is a Manchester-based blogger and freelance journalist. His expanding portfolio of sites includes This French Life, and This Perth Life.

He is a former reporter on the award-winning Stockport Express and editor of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's website thisislancashire which enjoyed more than two million page impressions a month.

Linda is an agency director and as a freelance journalist has regularly contributed to various publications, including most daily papers, Press Gazette and women's weeklies.

Publications Linda has edited include the St Petersburg Press (now the St Petersburg Times,) in Russia's second city, the Midlands monthly Business Report and Tamba's quarterly magazine Twins, Triplets & More.

She is also a former news editor at the Worcester Evening News and the Wolverhampton Express & Star and is now the director of features and PR agency Passionate Media, whose clients include major women's magazines and national broadsheet and tabloid newspapers

Linda is a media trainer with the:101 and the author of the oh-so-modestly-named The Greatest Freelance Writing Tips in the World, which was published in October 2007.

Craig and Linda have seen a lot of changes in the media industry, but a need from editors for fresh ideas and reliable, accurate and legally sound copy remains the same.
